A concert in Ankara
Wednesday, 04. Jun 2014
Greetings from Ankara!
I am about to
return to Vienna but wanted to let you know about
my concert in Ankara's Bilkent Concert Hall last Saturday (31st May 2014). This was the second
time I played with the magnificent Bilkent Symphony Orchestra. Our programme
this time around featured Debussy and Scriabin - conducted masterfully by
Antonio Pirolli. I played Scriabin's Piano concerto in F sharp minor, Op. 20 and
had an unforgettable evening! And if you speak Turkish you will be able to read
this (lovely) review in Sanattan Yansimalar:

You may be wondering
No concerts listed? What‘s up with that?
No worries: I have not retired or moved to the other end of the world.
I am taking a sabbatical to finally finish the novel I have been writing for a long time now.
N.W. (my main character) rightly keeps reminding me that her story needs to be told and I am the
one responsible for getting it out there. I think she’s got a point. I have given in… and will
keep you up to date, so watch this space!
